These instructions apply to authors preparing final camera-ready papers for ICogSys 2026. All accepted manuscripts must be revised in response to reviewers and prepared using the applicable official Springer proceedings template. Publication remains subject to final editorial and Springer quality and integrity checks.
Important Deadline: Author Registration
Complete author registration by October 25, 2026
At least one author per accepted paper must register using the Explara registration and payment instructions on the Registration page. The conference is fully online (November 26–28, 2026). Authors must also present their accepted papers online. The camera-ready upload deadline is the deadline shown in the applicable EDAS track or acceptance notification; it is not automatically the registration deadline.

Use the official Springer Word or LaTeX proceedings template and follow its formatting, reference and author-information requirements. The ICogSys manuscript length is 10–14 pages including references, figures and tables. Do not use IEEE two-column formatting for the final manuscript. If a series-specific Springer template differs from the general instructions, follow the template confirmed by the proceedings editors.

Three Mandatory EDAS Uploads
After acceptance, upload all three files separately in your EDAS paper record. The final PDF and editable source must match exactly.
1. Camera-Ready Manuscript (PDF)
Upload a searchable PDF prepared with the applicable Springer template, 10–14 pages including references. Include the final author names, affiliations, corresponding-author details, abstract, figures, tables and references. Incorporate the reviewers’ required corrections.
2. Editable Source (DOCX or LaTeX ZIP)
Upload either the editable DOCX file or a ZIP containing the complete compilable LaTeX project (.tex, bibliography, images and any required styles). The source and PDF must contain identical scientific content. A PDF alone is not a substitute for source files.
3. Response to Reviewers, Revision Summary and Signed Declaration (PDF)
Upload one PDF containing: (A) point-by-point responses to every reviewer question, comment and suggestion; (B) a summary of changes; and (C) the signed author declaration below. Identify each comment, explain the response, and specify the corresponding section/page where the revision appears. Explain any suggestion not adopted.

Plagiarism, Generative AI and Scientific Integrity
Springer applies strict originality and research-integrity requirements. Authors must independently verify all references, numerical results, figures, tables, datasets, analyses and conclusions. A low similarity score does not establish scientific validity or authenticity.
Generative AI may be used only in accordance with applicable Springer Nature policies, with appropriate human oversight, verification and disclosure. Unverified AI-written material, fabricated citations or results, and misleading synthetic content are unacceptable. Authors retain full responsibility for all manuscript content.
The conference and Springer may carry out independent similarity, reference and research-integrity checks, potentially using different screening methods. Automated AI-content scores alone are not conclusive evidence of misconduct; concerns may require human editorial assessment and author clarification. Unresolved serious issues may lead to exclusion from proceedings consideration.

Copyright and Springer Publishing Agreement
Copyright/publishing agreements will be collected later. Authors do not need to upload a copyright form at this stage. The organising committee will communicate the appropriate Springer Nature publishing agreement and submission procedure separately. The corresponding author must have all co-authors' permission to sign the applicable agreement.

Proceedings Publication with Springer
ICogSys 2026 has received approval for publication of peer-reviewed and selected papers in two Springer proceedings series.
1. Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems (LNNS)
The Springer Editorial Board has approved one proceedings volume for ICogSys 2026 in the
Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems (LNNS)
series. The proceedings volume will include a maximum of 50 selected papers.
The LNNS series is indexed by Scopus, EI Compendex, INSPEC, WTI Frankfurt eG, zbMATH and SCImago. All books published in the series are submitted for consideration for indexing in Web of Science.
2. Springer Proceedings in Information and Communication Technologies
Peer-reviewed and selected papers may also be considered for publication in Springer's
Springer Proceedings in Information and Communication Technologies
book series, subject to the scope, quality and publication requirements of the series and Springer's final quality checks.

All submissions will undergo a rigorous peer-review process coordinated by the Technical Program Committee. Acceptance for presentation at ICogSys 2026 does not automatically guarantee publication in a Springer proceedings volume. Papers must satisfy the scope, technical quality, research-integrity and publication requirements applicable to the respective Springer series and successfully complete Springer's quality and integrity checks.
