The International Conference on Cognitive and Intelligent Systems (ICogSys 2026) invites original research contributions describing pioneering advances in cognitive artificial intelligence, machine learning, and intelligent systems.
We invite submissions from researchers, practitioners, and industry professionals working on cutting-edge AI technologies, including cognitive architectures, machine learning, computer vision, cyber-physical systems, trustworthy AI, edge intelligence, and AI-enabled digital infrastructure.
Proceedings Publication with Springer
ICogSys 2026 has received approval for publication of peer-reviewed and selected papers in two Springer proceedings series.
1. Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems (LNNS)
The Springer Editorial Board has approved one proceedings volume for ICogSys 2026 in the Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems (LNNS) series. The proceedings volume will include a maximum of 50 selected papers.
The LNNS series is indexed by Scopus, EI Compendex, INSPEC, WTI Frankfurt eG, zbMATH and SCImago. All books published in the series are submitted for consideration for indexing in Web of Science.
2. Springer Proceedings in Information and Communication Technologies
Peer-reviewed and selected papers may also be considered for publication in Springer's Springer Proceedings in Information and Communication Technologies book series, subject to the scope, quality and publication requirements of the series and Springer's final quality checks.

All submissions will undergo a rigorous peer-review process coordinated by the Technical Program Committee. Acceptance for presentation at ICogSys 2026 does not automatically guarantee publication in a Springer proceedings volume. Papers must satisfy the scope, technical quality, research-integrity and publication requirements applicable to the respective Springer series and successfully complete Springer's quality and integrity checks.

Submission Categories
Full Research Papers
Original research contributions presenting theoretical advances, algorithms, models, or experimental studies related to cognitive and intelligent systems.
Application and System Papers
Papers describing implemented intelligent systems, prototypes, or applied solutions demonstrating practical applications of intelligent technologies. Submissions should clearly explain system design, architecture, evaluation, and practical insights.
Review Process
All submissions will undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process conducted by the Technical Program Committee.
Each paper will be evaluated by at least two to three independent reviewers based on originality, technical quality, relevance to the conference themes, clarity of presentation, and significance of contributions.
Author identities and affiliations must be anonymized in the submitted manuscript. Reviewers will also remain anonymous to the authors throughout the review process.
Research Integrity and Generative AI: All submissions will be screened for plagiarism and research-integrity concerns. Authors remain fully responsible for the originality, accuracy, validity and verifiability of all content in their manuscripts, including text, references, data, figures, tables, code and reported results. Any use of generative AI or AI-assisted tools must comply with applicable Springer policies and must not compromise the scientific integrity or authorship responsibilities of the work. Manuscripts containing fabricated or unverifiable content, references or results, substantial unattributed reuse, or other serious research-integrity concerns may be rejected.
Accepted papers must be presented at the conference. Final inclusion in the applicable Springer proceedings is subject to the respective series requirements and Springer's quality and integrity checks.

Selected papers will be published in reputed journals as special issues
Extended versions of high-quality accepted papers will be invited for submission to partner journals.
