Theme: From Foundation Models to Autonomous Intelligent Systems
In conjunction with ICogSys 2026 – International Conference on Cognitive and Intelligent Systems
November 26–28, 2026 | Trivandrum, Kerala, India | Hybrid
The rapid development of foundation models is transforming the way intelligent systems are designed and deployed. Large Language Models, multimodal foundation models and Generative AI are increasingly moving beyond content generation towards systems capable of reasoning, planning, tool use, interaction and autonomous decision-making.
The Special Symposium on Generative AI, Foundation Models and Agentic Intelligence invites original and unpublished research contributions addressing the scientific and engineering challenges involved in developing the next generation of generative and autonomous intelligent systems.
The symposium particularly welcomes research presenting new methods, architectures, algorithms, evaluation frameworks, experimental results and practically validated intelligent systems.
Authors are invited to submit original and unpublished research papers through the ICogSys 2026 EDAS submission system.
All submissions will undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process. Papers will be evaluated based on originality, technical quality, significance, methodological soundness, relevance and clarity of presentation.
Peer-reviewed and selected symposium papers will be considered for inclusion in the ICogSys 2026 Springer Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems (LNNS) proceedings, subject to the conference selection criteria and Springer's quality and publication requirements.
