ISI 2026

9th International Symposium on Intelligent Informatics

Intelligent Informatics for Next-Generation AI and Digital Systems

In conjunction with ICogSys 2026 – International Conference on Cognitive and Intelligent Systems

November 26–28, 2026 | Online

Call for Papers

The 9th International Symposium on Intelligent Informatics (ISI 2026) invites original and unpublished research contributions presenting theoretical advances, innovative methods, intelligent technologies and practical developments in the broad field of Intelligent Informatics.

Building on eight previous editions, ISI has developed as an international forum bringing together researchers, academicians, practitioners and industry professionals to exchange research ideas and discuss advances in intelligent computing and information technologies.

The symposium has a distinguished academic legacy. The Honorary Chair of the first edition was the late Prof. Lotfi A. Zadeh, University of California, Berkeley, USA, founder of Fuzzy Logic.

ISI 2026 continues this tradition at a time when Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, foundation models, autonomous intelligent systems and data-driven technologies are rapidly transforming the way information is acquired, processed, understood and utilised. At the same time, increasingly connected and autonomous digital environments are creating new research challenges involving trustworthiness, security, efficiency, explainability and real-world deployment.

ISI 2026 provides a focused international forum for research spanning Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cognitive Computing, Data Science, Intelligent Information Processing, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Security Informatics, Intelligent Software Systems, IoT, Cyber-Physical Systems and emerging intelligent technologies.

The symposium particularly welcomes contributions presenting new methods, models, algorithms, architectures, experimental findings, datasets, analytical approaches or practically validated intelligent systems.

Topics of Interest

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

Proceedings Publication

The peer-reviewed and selected papers of ISI 2026 will be considered for publication by Springer in the Springer Proceedings in Information and Communication Technologies book series, subject to the symposium's peer-review process and Springer's quality and publication requirements.

Print ISSN: 3004-9563
Electronic ISSN: 3004-9571

The series is published by Springer Singapore and covers emerging areas of computer science and information and communication technologies.

All papers proposed for publication will be subject to Springer's applicable quality and integrity checks. Acceptance for presentation at ISI 2026 does not by itself guarantee inclusion in the final Springer proceedings.

Paper Submission and Review

ISI 2026 invites original and unpublished full research papers that have not been published previously and are not simultaneously under review by another conference or journal.

All submissions will undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process. Each manuscript will be evaluated by independent reviewers based on originality, technical quality, scientific rigour, significance, experimental or analytical validation, relevance and clarity of presentation.

The review process will also consider research authenticity and verifiability, citation and reference integrity, technical consistency and compliance with accepted standards of research ethics.

At least one author of each accepted paper must register for the symposium and present the paper online.

Post-Presentation Revision

Authors of accepted papers will be provided one additional opportunity to revise their manuscripts after presentation at the symposium.

This revision will enable authors to address relevant technical comments, questions and suggestions received during the presentation and discussion sessions. The revision should focus on improving and clarifying the accepted work and should not substantially alter its fundamental research contribution.

The final revised manuscripts will undergo editorial, quality and integrity checks before submission to Springer for publication consideration.

Registration

ISI 2026 will be conducted online. A separate registration structure will apply to papers accepted for ISI 2026.

At least one author of each accepted paper must complete the applicable author registration and present the paper at the symposium for the paper to remain eligible for proceedings publication.

Detailed registration fees and payment instructions will be available on the conference registration page.

Paper Submission

EDAS Conference Management System

Authors should submit their manuscripts through the designated EDAS Conference Management System.

Manuscripts submitted for double-blind review must not contain information that directly identifies the authors or their institutions.

About the ISI Series

The International Symposium on Intelligent Informatics (ISI) is an established international symposium series dedicated to theoretical and practical developments in Intelligent Informatics and related areas.

The symposium has completed eight editions, bringing together researchers and practitioners working across Artificial Intelligence, intelligent computing and information technologies.

The first edition had the distinction of having the late Prof. Lotfi A. Zadeh, University of California, Berkeley, USA, founder of Fuzzy Logic, as its Honorary Chair.

The 8th International Symposium on Intelligent Informatics (ISI 2023) was held during December 18–20, 2023 in Bangalore, India. Its peer-reviewed proceedings, Intelligent Informatics, were published by Springer in the Smart Innovation, Systems and Technologies series.
